Fayette County EMS is a progressive, third-service, governmental EMS agency based in La Grange, Texas. In addition to our headquarters in La Grange, we have stations in Fayetteville, Flatonia, Round Top, and Schulenburg. We have a dedicated team of just under 40 clinicians and an array of state of the art equipment.

The Rotary Club of La Grange is where business, civic and community leaders come together for fellowship and service. Each of these individuals is committed to Rotary’s “Service Above Self” philosophy that drives the club’s efforts to improve our community, our nation and the world.

The Texas Emergency Medical Task Force (TX EMTF) is a series of components that are capable of activating resources on behalf of Texas on a state mission that provides a custom, scalable approach to medical disaster response. The key to the program is the ability to activate our members from EMS & fire departments, public and private healthcare organizations, regional coalitions, & state and local government who provide personnel & assets that activate during disasters.

The Capital Area of Texas Regional Advisory Council facilitates coordination amongst trauma and emergency healthcare providers within TSA-O to ensure the most efficient, consistent, and expedient care of each patient, by developing and maintaining integrated quality processes in patient care, transportation, education, and prevention.

Mental health challenges are often more pronounced in rural areas, where resources and support can be limited. The Red Door Fund for Mental Health is dedicated to changing this reality.

By increasing access to mental health resources, fostering understanding, and reducing stigma, the fund empowers individuals and families to navigate their mental health journey with dignity and hope. Through awareness campaigns and community investments, Red Door is building a region where everyone feels supported, accepted, and unashamed.

In 1999, Sunset legislation authorized the establishment of the Governor’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Trauma Advisory Council (GETAC) to advise and make recommendations on developing and implementing Texas Emergency Healthcare System rules. The Governor appoints the council members.
